Sonic 4: Release Date, Cast, and Everything We Know
Sonic The Hedgehog has had one of the most successful runs in the context of video game adaptations. Both the first and second movies from the franchise did well and recently Sonic 3 followed suit, amassing a total Box Office collection of $422.5 million worldwide. However, the franchise is not over yet since it is confirmed that another installment will soon be released. So, without any further ado, let me tell you all about Sonic 4’s release date, cast, and everything we know so far about the project!
What Is Sonic 4 Release Date?
Paramount Pictures recently revealed that Sonic 4 will be released on March 19, 2027. This is a huge gap of around 2.5 years from the release of Sonic The Hedgehog 3. Meanwhile, The Super Mario Bros Movie 2 is one of the fiercest rivals of the Sonic franchise and is slated to release on April 3, 2026. So, we can expect the release date of Sonic 4 to be pushed up but as of now, the official release date is March 19, 2027.
Is There a Trailer For Sonic 4?
As of now, all we have is the release date reveal of Sonic 4. Considering that the upcoming movie has not even started pre-production yet, there is no trailer for Sonic 4 out yet.
What Could Be the Cast of Sonic 4?
Multiple characters have been a constant in the Sonic franchise and will continue to appear in the upcoming Sonic 4. James Marsden and Tika Sumpter will reappear as Tom and Maddie Wachowski respectively. Along with that, the lead cast of Ben Schwartz, Idris Elba, and Colleen O’Shaughnessey will appear as Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails respectively in Sonic 4.
We also know that Shadow The Hedgehog is still alive, Keanu Reeves will probably return as Shadow in Sonic 4. Since Jim Carrey returned for Sonic 3 even after announcing his retirement there has been a slight chance that he might return in Sonic 4 even after his apparent death in the movie. However, it has not been revealed yet who will be playing Amy, the pink hedgehog but as soon as there is a reveal, we will let you folks know ASAP.

Will Amy The Hedgehog Appear in Sonic 4?
By the end of Sonic 3, we see that a mysterious character saves Sonic from being ambushed by a swarm of robot Sonics. Just before the credits rolled, it was revealed that this character was none other than Amy The Hedgehog, a much-loved character in the videogame franchise. Considering that Metal Sonic has been revealed by Sonic 3, we will probably get to see the storyline where Amy is abducted by them and Sonic and his friends set out on a mission to rescue Amy.
